The Godney Gathering officially opens its gates for the 2026 festival at 6pm today (Friday, 17th July), and the good news is that there are a small amount of tickets left if you’re looking for something to do on this gloriously sunny weekend.
Hosted at Garslade Farm in Godney, the festival features two days of fantastic music featuring well-known bands and local talent.
The Godney Gathering has been running since 2011, and over the years they’ve featured acts such as UB40, Scouting for Girls, The Blockheads, The Darkness, The Lightning Seeds and The Lottery Winners.
The 2026 line up of acts is arguably their best yet, with Reverend and the Makers, Dodgy, The Pigeon Detectives, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and the undeniable talents of local legends, The Wurzels.
The festival has always been a champion for smaller, local bands, and their Glastonbury Calling stage is packed with a wide – and wonderfully diverse – range of artists from around the area.
The Godney Gathering Festival is a two-day event that opens this evening and runs right through until tomorrow night. There is camping available next to the festival site, and you can find out more about that here.
Although The Godney Gathering is a small festival, with a maximum capacity of 5,000 people, there’s still plenty to see and do. There is entertainment for the kids and also a silent disco running throughout both days.
As usual, there’s a range of stalls for food and drink, as well as the all-important merch stand.
Tickets range from just £46 for the Saturday only, to £56 for both today and tomorrow. Children are free but camping is extra.
